  I have had my GT with Paul Lacey for the last few weeks sorting out a whole host of jobs. I'm so pleased with the results, it's like a completely different car. I thought I'd share some of the issues we, (well Paul really) tackled in case it helps anyone else.



  Clutch was first on the list, went for the GTS upgrade (no choice really). After a lot of price comparison work with OPC's and other Porsche specialists,  Roger at 928's R US  was almost 30% cheaper when buying everything required separately Shipped in 3-4 days (express service) and so far I have escaped duty. Will definitely use Roger again, service and price excellent.



  Fitted a Re calibrated MAF;  I had put this off for some time. Everything John Speake says was 100% right, car feels so much smoother and livelier across the rev range. Wish I had done this sooner.



  Engine vibration and flappy valve vibrating. This was traced to a failed HT lead on cyl 1. What a difference that made, we could have spent ages on diagnostics if that had not been checked.



  New aero mirrors. Love the look, will go for concave glass on passenger side but don't notice loss of vision too much on the drivers side. Really pleased with these.



  Slightly fruitier back box fitted, which with X Pipes really makes the most out of that beautiful soundtrack. 



  Another unrelated bonus is that a Maxi Cosi Tobi car seal fits a treat with the 3 point seat belts and an extension, perfect for arguing the family car case now too ;-)



  Big thanks to Roger and John Speake for their advice, such a valuable resource that we should all support. And especially Paul Lacey who's knowledge and personal approach to any 928 he works on really puts a smile on your face.
