[928uk] Column switch wiper stalk

Not sure what I've managed here but since putting the pod back and putting
column switch unit back on the wiper stalk feels like waving a stick in a
shirt sleeve (memorable description of old mini gearchange)!

This is a pain as MOT due and includes wiper switches.

Any ideas on what problem could be before I take the whole switch apart?

Also any ideas on sourcing replacement switch if necessary. PET shows 2 for
my MY including cruise control:

964 613 331 00

and

964 613 332 00

The 331 is  black with headlight washer system with cruise control

The 332 is same but adds "lettering english" which is odd as no countries
listed for the 331 and there is separate part listed for France. Can anyone
throw light on the switch I need for a MY91, and whether it will come with
the 4th stalk for OBC or not?
