If you want a super reliable rag top with stonking performance for funny money I would definitely look at the Z4M Roadster.
Often described as the German TVR, they are super fun. I had the coupe version for 5 years and only sold it as I bought a house and needed every last £ I could get my hands on. I would have another in a heart beat...

If you're comparing with a Trevor i'd say get another 928. The Cerbera was on my shortlist and i regularly thank providence (and my good taste) that i chose the 928.
The Caymans are coming down in price now if you're after a two seater, neat little car IMHO.
