The Cerbera is in no way comparable with a 928, however it does compliment
it fairly well. The only similarities are that it has the engine in the
front and a couple of diminutive seats in the back. However the 928 rear
seats are usable, I have sat there myself for sometime, the rear seats in
the Cerb are at best 'token' and that assumes the person in the seat in
front is willing to move their seat forwards. Having said that I have had a
hitchhiker in the rear of the Cerb, and he was overjoyed by the experience
of being catapulted through the Cotswolds at speed.
Conversely my gf hates the Cerb but loves the 928. It is crude, rude, noisy
and uncomfortable (compared with the 928 that is twice it's age). When you
get in the 928 after spending time in the Cerb, the refinement is truly
remarkable. On the other hand you only have to start the engine in the AJP8
Cerb to experience an absurdly addictive adrenalin rush, the response of
the flat plane crank engine is the equivalent of petrol-head crack.
Oh, and one other thing, the power to weight ratio of a 4.5 Cerb is roughly
double that of an S4.

PS Many thanks to Geoff for his help fixing the Cerb manifolds
