Thanks for correction. Was probably recalling the airbag light fix for aftermarket steering wheel on thus equipped cars!
I'll take a careful look before I do anything other than consider just disabling with a link.

Although this does say to leave the connector off, and you are just making the connections on the plug itself so I am not sure if it would break something in the RDK unit if the plug was plugged back in with pins 2 and 13 shorted.

I believe the method to disable the RDK system is put a wire link from connector pin 2 to 13, so all you should need is a switch on that wire, open = system monitoring and closed = bypassed. No resistor needed.
As Smiffy says, they are off or on and I presume that is on or off from the sensor itself so there is no way to alter the pressure sense unless you change the sensors in the wheel?
