My own experience on GTS cars here in Texas - we have a few - is that oil
consumption improves with mileage. My car had 60k when I bought it and IIRC
consumption was about a liter per 800 miles. This was the same for a number
of lower mileage cars that were early 93 (really 92) and late 93 cars. With
130k my consumption has improved to about 1200 miles per liter. Not exactly
a major issue but when compared to my earlier cars 78 to 89 pretty high as
they do not seem to consume oil at all.
