Hi Ron,

Yes, I have the special tool for removing/replacing the pressure sensor
nuts. The part numbers are as follows:-

999.707.035.40........O-Ring and these were £1.34 each + VAT, and you will
need 8

928.361.203.01........Nut. These are difficult to remove, even with the
Porsche special tool, and I had to use a hammer and blunt chisel. I did
manage to get a couple off without too much damage, and was able to reuse
them. These were £18.61 + VAT each. Again, as you are probably aware, you
will need 8 if the old ones don’t come off easily. I purchased these in 2010
from Dick Lovett in Cardiff.

When you replace the O-Rings, the workshop manual recommends coating the
rings with Vaseline. I also made sure that the contact surface was smooth on
both tyre rim and O-Ring, as there was some overspray present after I had my
wheels refurbished.

If you want to borrow the special tool, please email me off the list, and I
can send it to you.

Hope this helps,

Regards,

Dave Morgan
