[928uk] Tested this today

Actually had a bit of interest at work today,had this 1988 911 turbo in & it was in really good condition. Its the closest I've been to a 911 of this generation to compare to my 1989 GT so after I'd tested it I took it for a sneaky test drive...What a disappointment!! If I'd never driven a 928 before I probably would have been pleased with it, it was reasonably quick when the turbo kicked in but I bet its a bugger to drive fast as there was absolutely no power until the turbo came in but what shocked me most of all was that it only had a 4 speed box...Whats all that about? I would have thought all Porsches by '88 would have had a 5 speed?The interior too, was weird,all the switchgear seemed to be in random places like no other car I've been in,totally confusing at first... I can honestly say that my GT would whup it in every aspect ,speed, handling , comfort ,sophistication etc...
