I always took a logical approach, England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales are countries and combined they are the nation of Great Britain. 
So I always say my nationality is British

Not entirely the case; Scottish father, Irish mother, born in Wales. I think that makes me British? Ok I support Wales when it comes to rugby and England when it comes to Football. 


I quite like the idea of being British. It will be interesting to see how the debate in Scotland pans out.
