thanks Paul,i will keep the 04 head as a spare/put on ebay etc.
might try and get a clear bonnet made...:o),but knowing my luck it would probably catch fire.

Hi Phil,
03 is head from M28.41 / 42 (S4) and 04 is M28.47 (GT) then it changed to 06 from '91 onwards.
I believe the GT (04) head has different inlet ports, matched to manifold but not 100% sure on this
Really great to see the Phoenix is rising again !
P.S. The yellow is great - especially when the bonnet is closed ;-)

it was just a case of giving the powder coaters all the metal engine parts i could find excluding block and heads and doing it all when i have the chance to.
might even get the exhaust manifolds heat treated in yellow,should look good on an engine stand if nothing else.
just a quick question,which i have probably asked before but have forgot the answer,in the pictures below the yellow bits,i have 2 heads that end with part numbers 3R and a spare that ends in 4R,what is the difference?
