First you need to establish if it is the switches that are sticky or the 
knobs sticking on the surround.

If it is the switches themselves, a good spray with "contact cleaner" 
into any gaps or joins.

However I think its more likely that the knobs are sticking in the 
recesses in the pod. Perhaps a build up of grime on both parts, perhaps 
swollen leather if you have a leather covered pod.
