[928uk] Scary bits and a great map

Ok John I've got the TBF fear! I have booked the car in with David Phillips in Edinburgh on Sat morning and he's happy for me to help.....we'll release the flex plate tension and measure the crankshaft float.
Looking closely at the service receipts I got in that nice folder, the crankshaft end float was measured at 0.25 mm 1500 miles ago when the torque tube was replaced. Now that is a little out of spec according to one of those articles you kindly sent me but significantly less than the 0.4mm suggested to imply TBF.
Rob Crowther had the flex plate tension released in May 2010 as well as obviously when the torque shaft was replaced in Nov 2011.
What do you think? At what point would you open the engine.......?
Wheels are 16 inch flats. There are more pics still on Pistonheads still for those interested. It's the one that says sold of course. ( for £6500 )

I will manually check though, using the trip counter and a calculator. If it is correct, it is certainly better than normal and must be a great advert for that engine management remap.
