It is probably leaking from the cam tower gasket. Mine is doing the same but from the top side. It is possible to change the gaskets with the engine in, but is obviously quite a lot of work, such as cam belt removal at least. The drivers side is tricky to remove because of the aircon pipes running past the suspension tower making access to the lower bolt difficult. I am going to do both sides on my 79. If you have the tools to remove the engine it will be much easier, I don't so will be going in there engine in situ.
