On of the big draws of a track day rather than TF is that you get to take
video's without resorting to surreptitious hand held style shenanigans by
your mate. You also get a much safer environment, less traffic, more
marshalls, free recovery, but you still have to pay an arm and a leg for
damaged Armco.

I'm not saying I've given up doing TF laps, as it's really hard to resist
the temptation when in the area (Spa, Zolder etc), but a track day is so
much more civilised, and it's why I felt able to invite my 80 year old
parents to join me (after my mum had been badgering me for an invite for
years). I thought they'd have ticked that box after the first time in the
928 four years ago, but they've been back three more time since, the last
being this July.
