Paul is spot on. 

Ordered new one for my GTS for £76. However managed to fix the old one. 

One tip for installing the new/fixed one. Screw a woodworking screw in one of the spare holes in the corner of the unit. Tie a piece of wire which is long enough so that you can thread through the whole, going from the inside to the outside. That way, when you pull it, it will bring the new resistor to where it is meant to be. 

Second tip - you temp probe for preventing the formation of ice on your evaporator is close by. Be extra careful not to brake it. Hence my suggestion to shine a torch down the opening by the rubber so you know what u are dealing with.
