[928uk] seized door lock

Hi all,
On my 1987 S4 I've had problems with the drivers door being locked for ages...
Today I managed to remove enough of the door card to access the central locking motor.
This motor is working but can not make the lock move... the motor struggles makes a nasty noise and achieves nothing. It seems the actual door lock is seized!
Has anyone got a pic of the door lock mechanism so I can work out what to do next?
