[928uk] High Mileage Nervousness - Cam Chains

The only thing that currently makes me slightly nervous about my engine is
that I'm on the original cam chains.

Some time ago I do remember Jon (now resident in Oz) posting about aged and
stretched chains ripping teeth off of camshafts - not pleasant!

Has anyone had any experience or insight on this issue?
