Hi Brian,

Getting the ride height back to stock will transform the car, it did on my car. When I measured mine from the points on the suspension, it was very low at 153mm, I reset it to 180mm.

If you like to tinker you might be able to save the threaded sleeve and nut, I did on mine, if time is more important then get new.

My car has the grey boge, there is a test procedure in the workshop manual to check the shock absorbers to see if there fit to put back on, mine passed this test so I refitted them, reused the springs too. I didn't fit any new parts, but I did use J B Weld to secure the threaded sleeve to the shocker body. I can now adjust the height with the car on the ground, no need to lift the car, just put the steering on full lock.

Any change in ride will mean the track will need adjusting.

A rough check of the front ride height is 27" measured from the floor, through the center of the wheel to the edge of the wing.
