[928uk] S4 value ?

Hi guys

Firstly big 'thank yous' to the guys who offered advice when my keys were
locked in (duh!).  You know who you are.  One method works!!

Anyway,  I have just passed a BIGGY birthday, and have decided I cannot
carry on with my precious car, which I have now had for about 15 years.

'87 S4 blue.  Fitted new engine (has done 30K) obtained from Porsch Apart,
from an 88 that had been back ended (oops). has been readied for MOT, new
brakes, recon calipers, all tyres as new, etc, etc.  Car has done about 120K
from new (except engine). Paint work now starting to look a little sad in
parts. PROBLEM...  Suddenly engine starts and stops intermittently, windows
work same, headlights same.  Auto electrician (not Porsche man) tells me he
thinks earth fault somewhere after fuse/relay panel, but he doesn't know
where to start.

So, I have decided it must go as I do not have the will or stamina now to
work on it (having passed 70 last week).  Can anyone help me with what sort
of value I should put on in order to advertise, plus would anyone on the
list be interested in taking it?

I don't take much part in the forum, but believe me it is very valuable, and
I ardently read every day from end to end, so keep up the great work.
