Very interesting site...although fatally flawed in my case had the reg number of one of my cars transferred some years ago and the mot results are for the origional as the colour shown is red...not white as it is now

Hi,thanks for your replies. I phoned cluster repairs uk in Waltham Abbey ( 10 minutes from me ) and have decided that descretion is the better part of valour for me here and that it might be £120 well spent to get them to do it.  I reckon I have the potential to do more than £120 of damage there.

Noticed today a pool of some liquid on the floor, not oil. Started to
think it was something like washer fluid so I thought I would top up
the washer bottle and see what happens. On filling it ran straight out
under the car. Anyone experienced this? How do you get to it to check?
Wheel off and cover? Is this a common fault?
All advice appreciated.

A long time ago, I mentioned that my immobiliser disables the fog lamps 
and heater, and I thought this was silly but deliberate.
Turns out it was accidental.
The X relay (which supplies the above) coil gets its ground from the 
starter wire (so that it is not powered while the starter is cranking), 
so when the immobiliser has isolated the starter it has also removed the 
ground from the X relay.

Not heard of the tank leaking, but to get to yours you need to remove front right wheel, then take out the wheel liner

Yes, mine did exactly the same, had disintegrated at the bottom for some reason. Probably years of the washers never having been used!

Replaced the washer bottle and all was good again.
