Hi Kevin

Thanks for the kind words - it's madness buying blind, but also just a bit of fun. It's only a car at the end of the day - and if it's a complete disgrace I'll sell it... Hoping it's a keeper though! 

I don't know too much myself, I've only seen one photo which doesn't exactly reveal too much, it's currently residing in a garage under piles of rubbish. 

It was advertised on gumtree yesterday and I rang it shortly after the ad was placed - Vague description and no photos. Seller seemed genuine and the price was good however he'd already had a brace of calls (from traders I imagine) and I thought because it was all the way down near Maidstone I'd lose out due to difficulty arranging a short term viewing and so on. 

Anyway I slept on it and rang him back in the morning. To my surprise it was still for sale, so I took a flyer and explained that I really wanted the car but couldn't view and would need to send someone down to collect it with cash and a flatbed... And with that in mind, we negotiated, struck a deal and fingers crossed it's being picked up next Saturday. The seller refused to accept a deposit so fingers crossed I don't get gazumped!

Sadly the S4 will have to go as my true love is for the early cars and I don't have the time, space or money to commit to two 928s, especially with this one probably being a massive project (so if anyone is looking for a well sorted S4 please feel free to get in touch! )
