Hi Martin,The two wires for tailgate release are just spade connectors, not a plug. Does not matter which way round they are connected to switch, they are in their own short sleeve so should be obvious. The standard seat connectors are multipin rectangular plugs and sockets - the sockets are attached to brackets under the seat and the plugs ar on flying leads from main harness.I wasn't 100% sure of your question but hope that answered it !? Best Regards,Paul L

Subject: [928uk] Seats
I have a pair of seats in my car that I believe are from a 968 one
side works electrically (drivers) the other side doesn't. Today I
removed the seat and it is not electrically connected. Looking at it
it appears to be a plug in fitting. There has obviously been some
alterations to this wiring in the past with joints etc. the switch for
the hatch is also not wired. There is no sign of a plug or the spade
connectors present. Am I right in thinking its a plug? I will take off
drivers side to investigate but wondered if anybody had thoughts on
rectifying.
Martin
