I bought my gas struts from SGS Engineering solutions in Derby 01332 576850
they have a good website http://www.sgs-engineering.com/

£12.99 each with a 2 year warranty.

Boot seal; mine is poor but OK for now I have seen them on ebay about £40,
not sure of quality?

Hi All

I am now fed up with the tailgate catching me out and coming down on my
head!. This seems to be worse in the winter, which I know is common with gas
struts generally. Warmer conditions not an issue.

Has any one found a good brand they could recommend, or do I head down to
OPC?.

Also after washing the car I noticed water drips on the rear sun visors. I
am thinking this could be the tail gate seal, that has over time
worn/failed. Has anyone got any thoughts.
