[928uk] Tailgate Gas Struts

Regarding the boot seal, I'd recommend the Porsche part.

I bought a replacement seal for my S4 from a well known uk supplier, and although it fitted ok it has developed some splits in it over approx 5 years. I assume the splits are simply from the constant compression on the seal.

I have just replaced my original GTS seal with the genuine article, but the original seal only has one split in it down by the lock, even though it's 22 years old.
