[928uk] Rubber and Plastic

Hi all,

Just a word of warning about Gummi Pfledge; it really is great stuff and does a fantastic job of preservation on plastic and rubber. BMW used to sell it as their own brand, but they have had to remove this from their stock as it has a very high silicone content that remains airborne and they were unable to respray any of their cars because of it.

I used to use this on my GT and when it went in for a full respray it turned into a bit of a nightmare (just ask Dave at Daytona!).

If you plan on having your car replayed in the next 6 months or so, don't use any products with a high silicone content - like Gummi Pfledge!
