 Hatfield took a bath the year before on a 911 restoration;
 spent around £100k parts and book time, then overlooked
 that when offered for sale it incurred 20% VAT! Funnily
 enough there's a new dealer principle  at
 Hatfield.

 Independent or OPC I'd imagine the
 labour total would be huge, but as we all know pricing a car
 based on your maintenance bills isn't relevant. If you
 commissioned an OPC to do this work then yes that would be
 the cost, but to do the work on a none rare car and seek to
 recover all sunk cost is a punt.  They'll own that one
 for a while.
