Or going for simpler possibilities - maybe the shock damaged one of the key relays - pump, LH or EZK in which case you can swap in horn relay to rest, or maybe carrying spare 53?

I can hear a click from a relay behind the centre console that coincides with the warning lights going out even though the engine hasn't started. On my 1985 car there is a bank of four relays behind the radio and I can feel one of them clicking synchronous with the check lights extinguishing. I haven't had any alternator problems, and have changed the warning system module with one from another car; problem remains.

Try spraying some WD-40 into the alternator that might just clean up the contacts on the brushes or something or even belt the thing with a hammer & 1/2 inch drive extension bar and get a new one when you get home. !
