Hi Mike. Try pulling apart the multi pin connector, the brown one, near the jumpstart terminal. Disconnect the battery first. Clean all the pins, if they are cruddy , if you don’t have a wire brush just pull the sockets apart and push them together again several times.
Good luck.
In haste

I can hear a click from a relay behind the centre console that coincides with the warning lights going out even though the engine hasn't started. On my 1985 car there is a bank of four relays behind the radio and I can feel one of them clicking synchronous with the check lights extinguishing. I haven't had any alternator problems, and have changed the warning system module with one from another car; problem remains.

It may come on and off and charge from time to time. I expect Darren would let you plug your other battery and charger in at Mission control in the Ring Taxi office.

Try spraying some WD-40 into the alternator that might just clean up the contacts on the brushes or something or even belt the thing with a hammer & 1/2 inch drive extension bar and get a new one when you get home. !
