[928uk] GT fast road springs

Interestingly enough, although unsurprising, I have the Eibach's which I
got from Roger years ago & had a similar experience. I was really upset at
first because harsh springs & poor Devon roads made a horrible combination,
but as Roger says, they mellowed out with use & are perfectly OK. I did
have the car set-up at Centre-Gravity & a test they do involves a plate in
the floor that oscillates the suspension across swept frequencies &
analyses the effectiveness of the dampers in controlling the springs effect
on the car. I had the upgraded Bilsteins (can't remember the series number)
but they just about controlled the Eibachs, which was fine. 2 things to
take from this. If you do get higher poundage springs, give them time to
bed in & secondly, as others have mentioned, be aware that whatever springs
you have, you need appropriate dampers or you will be disappointed with the
result.
