I have an Auto because of my gammy legs.
However 2nd gear acceleration from a good GTS manual peels your eyes 
back. They really go. You just don't get that with the Auto - even with 
kick down override.
I would, however, just love to put an 8 speed ZF auto box (as in my BM5 
series) into a 928. I think that would be amazing. Effing difficult to 
do though!
