Octane from 2006

While waiting for my 928 to pass the MOT test with no advisories I was
browsing the very up-to-date library of magazines among which was the
aforementioned Octane from 2006.
After reading an article about the ground up restoration of a Ferrari 475GT
I happened upon the classifieds and of course found the Porsche section,
mainly 911s, the odd front engine item and a manual GTS.
A LHD dark metallic red on grey leather with 94K and reg of B16 GTS.  I bet
£15,500 seemed like a lot of money in 2006.  Is the car still about, anyone
know of it out of curiosity?

They test my 928 as a non-cat vehicle and the CO reads at zero with a 3.5%
limit and HC 6ppm with a limit of 1200.
I noticed in the list of new items to test, if you can call it a test is
tinted windows, this wasn't mentioned as mine are tinted so I wonder what
the actual limit would be - it says excessive tint but that sounds
subjective and could differ between testing stations?

They are a friendly bunch, greeting me with a 'Oh, it's you again, has a
year gone already?'
