Hi Vince
I use a coupling (bought from Germany specially) but I’m OCD. You can get by with jubilee clip and tubing shoved on nipple!
The filler is under a cylindrical cover poking out from sump. Has a 19mm hex on it I recall.
Can send photo later today to help you visualise. It was added to cars S2 onwards and is dead handy.
