[928uk] S4 Air pump removal question

Hi,

My air pump bearings seized on the IOW trip last year resulting in me cutting the belt off. However I like things to be original, so I have purchased a secondhand replacement with unknown history. To ensure another 30 years of trouble free running I am replacing all the bearings with new ones.

My question is how difficult is it to remove the broken pump from its mounting without stripping too much out? Has anybody done this and could offer some words of wisdom?
