[928uk] Alarming

The door lock contacts (the little switch on the end of the lock barrel)
do have a habit of getting water in them. The symptom I have seen before
was the water "shorting" across open contacts causing the central
locking to unlock. What you might have is corrosion preventing a good
unlock signal to the alarm (and central locking). Certainly worth checking.

The immobilisers fitted to UK cars was done for the importer, so it is
quite likely that yours will have something different. If I were you I
would see where that box connects to before deciding what it is. If it
is a dodgy immobiliser, it is a good idea to get rid of it, but to do
that you will have to work out the wiring, so you won't wast any time
checking out the wiring first.
