[928uk] Improve performance

For the gear change, smoothness can be improved with the right oil. Overall
feel can be improved by removing play from the linkage, and getting the
adjustment just right. Usually the biggest source of play will be the rear
joint when the plastic parts disintegrate. When te front ball joint gets
enough play, it tends to jump off. The bushes below the lever are usually
okay, but easy to lift the gaiters and have a look.
As for improved performance, what situations do you find it lacking?
