"Save Power - Service" warning message

Hi all,

I got this warning light/message come up today after a short 10 mile drive
and trying to start after sitting for 2 hours.

After leaving the car for the two hours went to start it and although the
engine turned and got to 500 rpm it didn't catch. Tried two more times
before it stopped turning completely. Left it for 5 mins and then tried
again, it caught and settled to a regular idle and all ok. Went for a blast
on the motorway for 40 miles to make sure it was all ok.

It's been sat on the drive with a battery conditioner since returning from
its annual service with Paul two weeks ago. After the 10 mile drive I left
it and the cooling fans were still whirring away, which it never previously
did once the ignition key was removed.

So thinking I've got a weak battery and the fans sucked quite a bit of
charge and the battery would have had a full charge with the conditioner.
Any other suggestions or thoughts on this warning light as it's always
started on the button previously?
