[928uk] Petrol pipe failure

Prior to taking on my 928 restoration I spent a couple of years restoring a
1978 mini with some friends. Like your landy we replaced all of the fuel
lines and, like your Landy, experienced leaks after a couple of years of
minimal usage. My view is that it is poor quality hoses that don’t stand up
to modern fuels so are effectively now a service item that you need to
replace every few years. It’s very disappointing, of course, but seems to
be a common theme with some classic car brands that many of the aftermarket
parts are poor.
