Hi
Yes I used Pro Power Steering to replace my rack on my 84 S2. That was about 3-4 years ago and the car is still ok.
Regards

Has anyone used any of the following suppliers found in an internet search for 928 steering rack rebuild?

Could be worth a look at Serck too, they used to list a few 928 parts.

Regards the GT oil cooler, I replaced mine as it had sustained impact damage (cracked where the rows meet one tank such that it is). I did go a couple of places & no one would touch repairing it. Smiffy's suggestion could be a good one if it needs repair & you can find a place that is willing to have a go. I suspect I just didn't find the right place... Still have my old one, in case we ever find somewhere willing to try, be a useful spare for me... Hopefully O rings will resolve your issue.

The MY91 saw a substantial hike in pump output, with much lighter steering as a result. I noticed huge difference compared with the MY88 I had before, but it still retains all the feel you need at speed.
