Yes I saw that too but the trim finish is different I’m sure of it. For the
rear quarter and hatch trim mine was the same when I removed it - under the
corner pieces it was a black satin finish. They have now been re-anodised
to that finish. The door ones are different though in that the finish is
gloss and, like the car in the vid, completely unfaded. Just seems odd that
they wouldn’t fade at all. They are also a much glossier finish... I need
to look closer when I strip doors next year.. maybe it’s a paint vs
anodised.
If anyone on the list has an unrestored early car it would love to hear
their views on this.
The mystery of it all... :-)
