As sniffy said, it's time to check the CPS now as that provides the signal of engine rotation and spark follows that.
It's situated on top of the bell housing and would have been easier to do with the intake off.

Does your car have an alarm system??

Further update.

I have adjusted the co potentiometer to the correct 382ohms, it was way out.

Tried to start the car but now there is no spark from the plugs....
Two new distributors were fitted last year.
What should I check now please?
