Another thought , fine abrasive paper say 1200 or 600 grit should slide
across anodising with gentle finger pressure , as it would across a
sapphire watch glass on a genuine Rolex or similar
but the same paper will catch and dig into paint, or a cheap replica rolex
plastic "glass"

NB:-if you have just tried this on your Rolex, and its scratched the glass
, dont blame me😀
