Porsche 928 GTS for sale

A couple of weeks ago I was at the Sherborne Show with a TIPEC club stand
and as I was packing up a chap approached me and asked me how much my car
was worth?

 

I thought this was a bit strange but after some discussion he told me he had
a 928 GTS auto which he has owned for 25 years. Unfortunately I didn't have
much time to chat so he gave me a business card and I emailed him the next
day. He is a retired medical doctor and he wanted some advice on where the
best place was to sell the car and would any contacts I have be interested?

 

I went to see the car yesterday and it only has 56700 miles on the clock and
looking at the MOT history it has only covered 1397 miles since 2006! MOT
expired in Nov 2020.

 

The car has been stored in an internal garage all that time so has not been
exposed to any sunlight, the engine has been started regularly, but not
driven.

 

The history is limited, it went to Paul Andersons about 3 years ago for
cambelt and service etc.

 

Engine starts and with 5 bar oil pressure, the bodywork needed a good clean
but no signs of damage, or corrosion, the interior is all good with sports
seats. It's the same colour as my 928 Marine Blue with Linen leather.

 

This car could be a cracker but obviously will need some work, its
completely original apart from the front PU has be sprayed at some time.

 

The car is on L plate and registered in 1993
