[928uk] Fuel filler cap & front fog lights switch - both stuck!

I've just checked the wiring diagram, your fog lamps should only come on 
when the sidelights are on, irrespective of the ignition switch position.

I had a look at a couple of spare switches, both are sticky. I would 
suggest pulling the knob off then you will see the tiny bulb in the 
middle, surrounded by white plastic which is surrounded by a gap. I 
think what's needed is some lubrication in this gap, but it would need 
to be something that wouldn't attack the plastic or coat the electrical 
contacts, so I don't know what to suggest.
