Hi Roger,

I’ll order one locally and compare them. 

If they are different, I’ll hang onto it until the price , currently £96, increases to £250. Unused Porsche 928 spare parts seem to be the best investment around.

Joking aside, when I bought my first 928, an S4, it went through 3 high pressure power steering hoses in about 6 months. Luckily the car was still under warranty with Porsche (even luckier the ps fluid didn’t catch fire) . Eventually the OPC discovered Porsche had upgraded the hp hose because of failure due to heat, and they had been fitting the earlier hose. Given the proximity of the clutch hose to the manifold, it’s possible they also did an upgrade to this hose.
