Be really careful about the torque used to do the securing bolts up. As you
say, it's just sheet steel, and it's assumed that you just whack the bolts
back in and all good.  Not so, the torque required is much less than you'd
think, the steel crinkles too easily, and straightening one of those back so
that it stops leaking is really difficult...

Thanks everyone for the responses.  I'm not going to pay ?480 for a new one,
I will get it removed and see where the fault is, as Smiffy said, it's only
a bit of sheet steel.
