Not surprised about the GT. It needs £20K of work.

I didn't see the S4 manual, so won't comment on that.

The GTS needed some work and TLC, and it was an auto, so while £14k sems a
little low, I'd have been surprised if it had made more than £20K.

I reckon the sold figures reflect the fairly significant cost and effort of
restoring a neglected 928. Not many people have the desire, time or
inclination to work on these cars themselves, and the low values of good
examples (remember the 928 is a niche car - perhaps you might say a
"marmite" type car) doesn't make it worthwhile to pay workshop costs to have
them restored. Plus the push towards EV doesn't help classic car prices
generally.

All,

Not sure if any of you have looked at the auction results at the latest H
and H Auctions but the sold figures may surprise you:

*	The GT which was talked about a week or so ago with 151k on the
clock sold for £5400

*	An S4 manual with 121k on the clock sold for £9900

*	A GTS with 93k on the clock sold for £14062

A good time to buy?

Regards

Ian
