Fuse panel cover / passenger foot rear

Hi All

Refitted the fuse panel cover board today and I’m trying to work out what
the two 90 degree brackets do at the top. I assumed they would slot over
something but if they do it’s gone AWOL from my car.
It’s the first time I’ve refitted since I took it off 8 years ago when I
started this little project…

Please could someone enlighten me on their function?
