928 S4 SE update

F561NVE no.6 of the SE’s is back on the road!

It’s only taken 8months (which is about 7months longer than I expected!) all I can say is a light refresh definitely escalated…

But it was worth it.

What a car! Really surprisingly rapid.

Loads of remaining jobs to make its current condition a little more secure, which I look forward getting advice on. The most urgent of which is the ‘light bubbling’ on a few of the panels. The alu ones I’m not too worried about but the rear arches have some bubbling and I want to get those sorted before they get any worse. But the paint is original so I’m reticent (and possibly don’t have the budget) to do a full respray. I’d rather do it bit by bit. Is there such a thing as paint restoration companies. Everywhere I look just seems to throw up respray companies.

See photo link below. Not as good as some but not looking too bad for 83,000 miles and 35 years. I’ll take some interior shots in the light tomorrow.
