I haven’t read all the posts on this.
But Sam I would suggest never draw attention to anything. If he has passed the headlights in the past just keep quiet and chances are he’ll keep passing it aof this detail. If you open your mouth, you’ll start digging a huge hole. And then it gets markdown on the computer for ever. I don’t know how well you know the guy, but with old classic cars, it’s always worth going to someone old school who understands them rather than somewhere like Kwik Fit, who will check every single tiny little detail on the latest rules.
By the way, Paul Dillon is an MOT tester, and he sometimes pops up on this list.
I last saw him at the Nurburgring.
