[928uk] Leather dash treatment

A method that I used once on a fairly new leather jacket that had been 
left on a heater, and a section had shrunk and gone stiff.

I soaked the affected area with water until it was thoroughly soaked 
through (took a day or two). Once very wet it could be stretched back to 
its original shape. Then I had to hold the shape while it slowly dried 
(otherwise it would have shrunk again). Once it was sufficiently dry I 
started putting some leather treatment on it.

My concern with old leather would be that it would tear when you try to 
stretch it.
